Found this in the news:

http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/science/09/19/guinea.pig.ap/index.html

Now, how long before either UFO or Nu Image make a film based around the idea that a bunch of scientists try to clone an extinct animal.  Just to be safe, they use a sample of rodent DNA.  Unfortunately, it came from Guinea Pigzilla.

Why are you looking at me like that?  We are talking Nu Image or UFO here.

Mmmm... I anticipate lots of bad puns and a CGI Guinea Pig POV. By the way, speaking of these people, wasn't Nu Image behind "Octopus"? I've seen the "Octopus II" DVD on a rental store but I don't know if it's worth getting it. What do you say?

Maybe they could get Richard Gere to star in it.

It is pretty bad. The octopus is hanging out at the sewage treatment station and somehow it inserts its tentacles into the place and grabs a couple of people.   They were trying to go for "Alligator," but end up with something worse than "Alligator 2."

On the other hand, it had less annoying characters than the original.  Of course, any movie without a putz CIA agent is better than "Octopus."

Dean Cain's been doing some pretty low budget movies by the likes of "U.F.O" recently that fall into this territory, such as "Dragon Fighter" and "Boa"

Yeah, but there's the rumor (completely untrue of course, but fun nontheless) of Richard's introducing various rodentia into his anal canal.

Just try that with a one tone guinea pig.
