Message Board Spam

Sorry folks.  Did not get home from the unit until about 2200 last night and I did not check the message board until just now.  The idiot should find himself blocked and I also removed all of his posts.  Have to go into the unit now (I'm on leave, but have a few issues to work this morning).

If this ever becomes a problem, I will just engage the "requires registration to post" function on the board.  That will help deter any troublemakers.  Plus, I could appoint some moderators.  We usually do not have a problem though.

A person going by the name "Cheeky Monkey"  started posting new threads.  A lot.  Maybe better than twenty new threads in a night.

Some of the new threads he put up were under diffrent names, such as the incredibly original !@#$#@!#%$%@@#!@%#^#@#%$%^ (my spelling might be a little off.)  He would then post again under "Cheeky Monkey" and ask what the hell was up with that.

Stupid stuff like that.

I don't think the Evil Dead Thread Guy was a spammer, just a newbie to the world of b-movies.  Hell, when I first saw Evil Dead, I thought I was the only person who knew about it, too.  It just takes some time to get acclimated when you first get into b-movies and think you're special for having seen Dead-Alive, and then someone starts talking about Ilsa vs. Bruce Lee in the Devil's Triangle and you know you're waaaay out of your depth.

Nah I'm referring to a different thread. My message wasnt very clear, sorry. Basically one person made a comment that Evil Dead 2 was in a way a remake of Evil Dead. Another person disagreed and it went back and forth in a sort of nerdly battle for awhile. It was in a thread cheeky had started.
