What TV episode is this?

It was a colour, American 60's sci-fi episode that involved our hero (or heroes) travelling into the future, ending up in a giant bee-hive that was populated by giant intelligent bee-people who (I think) ruled over a collection of human slaves, and it finished with someone being left behind in the entrance to the hive, hearing the approaching hum of the bee-people and trying to hide under some rags in a corner.

I used to think it was part of "The Time Tunnel" but after checking out their episode list, I don't think so.  Any suggestions?

My first guess was also TIME TUNNEL, but I really don't know.
