On the MTV20thB-dayparty. They interviewed Busta Ryhemes and he said a new movie he was in was Halloween 8. Did I mishear him? Are they really making this? Anyone know anything about this? Does it look like Busta Ryhemes will be the only good thing in the movie?

Is supposed to be out...around Halloween..
The plot has a bunch of college kids going into the old Myers place Blair Witch style in an event sponsored by the website michaelmyers.com...
I dont know if Myers is actually in it...or its basically Halloween 8/Season of the Witch 2.
Jamie Lee Curtis is returning...for a brief role..
I've heard rumor that the Shape that was beheaded in H20 was an imposter...so pretty much, yes Busta Rhymes will be the only good thing about this film!

Rick (Halloween 2) Rosenthal is directing it - let's hope that it's better than his other recent sequel - Land's End: The Birds 2 (ew).

Michael Myers is in this one.  He evidently takes a dislike to being exploited by the Internet and attempts to lay waste to all at the proceedings.  Too bad he can't kill Moustapha Akkad for flogging a decayed horse's corpse.

Release date is currently Sept 21.
