Prequel? I'd like to see one for Kenneth Johnson's "V" - We saw what happened when the Visitors came to earth, but what about how they evolved and how many other worlds they ruined before Earth? I'd like that.

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

"several days before the 28 days later">?

Not too big on prequels either, nothing even comes to my mind right away of what that could work well for.

Brotherhood of the Wolf, those two guys are just cool.

Peter Jackson has recently said that he would do the Hobbit, but there is some weird hang up on the distribution rights. New Line could make the movie, but it wouldn't get distributed.  Someone compared it with the way SpiderMan was held up for so many years.  He said if New LIne gets the rights straightened out, he would be glad to do it.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Yes!
Plan 1 through Plan 8 .  Eight prequels!  Now all we have to do is clone Ed Wood.

The syndicated show Comedy Break used to have a recurring sketch where they did exactly this. I forget what they were, but the plans were always really stupid.

Never happen. There's an unwritten rule that you can't have a movie completely about aliens, no humans involved.

Not necessarily a prequel....I'd like to see the alien takeover of the Hadley's Hope colony on LV-426 in "Aliens".

You know....before the Colonial Marines & Ripley arrive.
It would be especially good to see it through Newt's eyes and her escape & hiding from the aliens.
