Has anybody seen this goofy movie? I personally love the cracker Jack coated clod that was suppose to be The Thing. I even payed $45.00 for a pirated copy. Of course, afterward I felt ripped off but what should I expect from Mr. Corman?

Every copy of this floating around is a copy of a copy of a copy.  The film was never released.

And today the president closed the nation's last remaining submarine base at Groton, Connecticut. When ask why he had made the startling decision the president responded, 'Those funny little black ships just keep sinking anyway'.

Yes, I understood that the film was never officially released. However, the copy I purchased was not really a bad copy at all. It seriously looks like a second generation transfer. Really cool but still not worth the price I coughed up for it. ; )

I have been struggling with the decision to buy this DVD on Ebay.  But most of the reports I have heard indicate that the picture quality is poor.  Like everything else, this will probably get a legitimate release some day (most likely, after the big-budget FF movie is released).  So, I'll probably wait . . .

If you'd like, I can possibly hook you up with a nice DVD transfer from my reel. The picture quality is much better than anything else you'll probably find, that's for sure.
