Pauley Shore -- just not funny.
Tom Green -- neither are you.

Barbara Streisand -- horrifically dull.  And I hate your voice too.
Jane Fonda  -- after Barbarella, of course.

Rob Schneider
Jim Carrey  (the only funny thing he ever did was Fire Marshall Bill)
Adam Sandler

Why do any of these guys have careers?

Actually, Punch-Drunk Love ruled hard.

Jim Carrey...eh.  Even when he's trying to be genuine, it comes off as schtick.

Totally agree with Rob Schneider.

My picks:

actor:
Pauly Shore - nepotism poster child
Danny Devito - just seems like the biggest Hollywood phony onscreen and in interviews
Tom Green - barely an actor
Freddie Prinze, Jr. - not even a real teen idol, can't explain his career
Steve Martin - but I know I'm alone on this one
Martin Lawrence - annoying egomaniac
Norm MacDonald - the smartass hipster who might be funny to hang out with while drunk, but unable to act, read lines, or do more than one character. The Colin Quinn imitation of him on "Tough Crowd" was so funny because even someone as untalented as Quinn could nail Norm's whole comic persona in just a few seconds.
Chris Farley - sweaty fat guy who screamed, acted stupid and fell down
David Spade - whiney sidekick trying to act like more than that
Will Farrell - goofy and one note
Every Wayans except Damon
Gary Cooper - so wooden he could have been his own coffin
Tom Cruise - getting too old to play the same performance in everything
Chris Tucker - the male Fran Drescher, a funny voice and nothing more
Rob Schneider - proof some people should leave showbiz when their time on SNL is up

actress:
Julia Roberts: the same hammy performance in every lead role
Lucy Liu: bad actress riding on looks
Drew Barrymore: ugly, dumb, mush-mouthed proof that talent skips many generations
The Olsen brats: the triumph of marketing in showbiz
Barbra Streisand - too much ego doesn't make you a good actress or director
Rosie O'Donnell - was anything about her old public image true?
Ellen Degeneres - She actually suck humor out of a room she's so bland
Melanie Hudsell - how did she ever get on SNL in the first place? Blackmail must have been involved.
Sarah Silverman - a cute girl who talks dirty. She has no screen presence when she isn't trying to talk like a sailor. See her short time on SNL and her pathetic acting career. Highlight: seeing her get decked in the first five minutes of "Way Of The Gun"

I steal this quote directly from Dennis Leary:

"Jim Breuer...  I thought pot was supposed to make s**t funnier."

Also Jim Carrey - With respects to trek geezer, Fire Marshall Bill wasn't even funny.

I try not to let an actors' or actresses' politics affect my opinin of them as an entertainer because really, who gives a s**t where and actor or actress stands on anything?  However, my one exception to this is Jane Fonda because what she pulled with those staged visits to NV POW camps actually hurt those guys in their darkest hour (both physically and mentally).  Also, she sucks and only ever got work in the first place because of who daddy was.

I tend not to waste a lot of timing thinking about actors I don't like.  If I see something with someone and I don't like them in it, i tend to just not bother watching much else with them in it..  But I certainly don't spend a lot of timing thinking about them.  Like rush hour traffic, I may not like it but if I can avoid it, then I will and who cares?

Life's too short as it is for me to care too much about someone who's never heard of me, probably wouldn't care about my opinion anyway, and has no impact n my life.

Hear hear.
I also try not to dwell on disliking celebrities because they're people too. Sort of like empathizing with the characters on EdTV (saw the first half of it in school today) , the spotlight's harsh enough as it is, you see. Must be a burden on one's soul, being hated by and reading torture threats from people just because your stage persona is "obnoxious".

I can't hate Rob Schneider because he's from Pacifica, a terrible, terrible place.

I do hate George Clooney, and Quentin Tarantino (as an actor) but I do like From Dusk 'til Dawn. Drew Barrymore, Denise Richards, and Heather Graham all seem way too dumb for most of their roles. I also hate Sean Connery, he's from Scotland, and doesn't have a cool accent, and is incapable of having any other accent. It's stupid, but I hate Ralph Fiennes because of his name, Ralph is not pronounced "Raif," the coffee talk lady (snl) was so right.

I can't really say I hate any actor.  I hate certain films, but I don't hate the actors within, as a rule - I hate the film as a whole.

There are exceptions, but they have more to do with off screen than on.

Suscan Surandon for example (who is a very talented actress, by the way), and her walking mouthpiece of a husband, Tim Robbins (who I've liked in every role I've ever seen him in).  It's the hipocracy that I dislike.

Any military action by a republican president, regardless of the motivation, is automatically bad.  Where were you when I got sent to Bosnia for 13 months, you self-rightous b***h?  Oh, wait.  A democrat was in power then, and they can do no wrong.

I also tend to dislike any actor/actress who tries to use their position to spout political nonsense.  I don't mind that you have an opinion - that's fine.  But what makes you think that being an actor gives you the the knowledge and experience to try to dictate policy to people?  Also - what makes your opinion any more significant or well-informed than mine?

If an actor wants to espouse their views, why do we have to listen?

I couldn't agree with you more on this list of actresses. Although, I do enjoy watching J-los bottom in widescreen. ; )

George Clooney is not technically an actor, he is a head-bobber.

Well...  Kind of agree w/ lots of you on actors:

The guys
Jim Carrey....  full of himself to the point of nausea
Jack Nicholson...  probably step on some toes, but he makes my skin crawl
Sean Penn... needs to stick to acne commercials
Charleton Heston....  he always acted like he had to hit the men's room, but stayed for one more take
and finally... Burt Lancaster and that other old fart from Winds of War

The girls

anybody recently who is just one of those nameless cute faces with tits and slim legs and NO talent:
Brittany Spears...  god, she is sooo dumb
James  King
almost anybody from a SCREAM type movie
older ones though:  Barbra Streisand, May I borrow a cup of ego
Karen Black
Kathy Bates
and Jennifer Connely
