Sorry Myers fans but Dimension yanked Halloween: Homecoming from its September 2001 release date.  Looks like a summer 2002 release (no doubt after more of the tampering that left Halloween 6 the reviled mess that it is).  Gee, that's too bad.

News out of the blue -

H. G. Lewis just finished directing Blood Feast 2 in Louisana!  Boyd Ford wrote the script and David Friedman executive produced (along with the Godfather himself).  John Waters makes a cameo in it.  Theatrical release may be very limited (midnight shows at art houses maybe) then its direct to video.  Nothing mention of 2001 Maniacs (they'd better hurry or change the title at least).

Considering it was directed by Rick Rosenthal (Halloween 2 and Lands End: The Birds 2) I am not surprised.

That be the title.  Amazon.com shows the release date as, not surprisingly, October 31, 2001.
