What are the worst zombie movies out there? I'm talking about the ones that are physically painful to sit through... ones you'd pay to have removed from your memories forever.

I saw Children of the Living Dead. It was pretty awful. That coffee cup scene was the only good part. :)
As for I Eat Your Skin, I bought it but haven't watched it yet. Maybe I should just return it and get my $2 back.

Zombie Lake and Oasis of the Zombies are both really bad. I also really hated Zeder since it had no zombies to speak of.
Redneck Zombies is bad but it's sort of meant to be.
A lot of people hate Night of the Zombies but I think it's way better than any of the other film I mentioned above.

The Zombie Chronicles is pretty awful. Made me actually want to hunt down the director and torture him to death by making him watch the movie.

"I was a teenaged zombie" and CHUD II.
I can't get them out of my brain. Just bad. They shouldn't even be called zombie movies.
Otherwise there are plenty of older and foriegn zombie movies that are too boring to watch but they don't cause pain.
Mmm.... Brains....

So far, the worst one I've seen has been Bangers: http://www.coldfusionvideo.com/b/bangers.htmlBut I'm sure there are worse horrors out there. Shudder...

I agree. I have the 3-D version (with the glasses that have synchonized shutter lenses . . . pretty cool). But it just made me want to reach out to the 3-D images and beat the hell out of them.
This may be sacriligious to some people, but just about anything by Lucio Fulci generally stinks.

Nathan,
Read that review a couple of weeks ago. After reading it, a part of me wants to track it down just to experience it while another wants to cower in fear.

These would be my picks:
Zombie Nightmare Alien Dead Zombie Lake Night of the Zombies ll Oasis of the Zombies Among the Living Dead Garden of the Living Dead Prison of the Dead Zombie Island Massacre Zombie Toxin Zombie Bloodbath (although part 2 is fairly decent but still pretty bad)

I own this one but I have not gotten around to watching. Funny, I always find something better to do.

How did "House of the Dead" get overlooked on this thread? I've seen a lot of bad zombie flicks but that one actually made me angry that the makers apparently thought so little of the movie-going public that they figured they could fob off this piece of s##t on them and get away with it (well, maybe I shouldn't be that surprised.) And yeah, "Oasis of the Zombies" and "Zombie Nightmare" are pretty awful. RE: "Prison of the Dead"; is that a retitling of "Garden of the Dead?"

Prison of the Dead is that full moon movie with the rip off Templar knights (Tombs of the Blind Dead) Pretty bad, Garden of the Dead is a totally different movie altogether. Haven't seen House of the Dead yet actually, I can imagine it must suck though.
