Tommorow in my oral communications class we have to tell jokes for two minutes, but it's not our own jokes they're jokes from stand up comedians. It sounded easy but it's actually hard. I wanted to tell one of Bill Cosby's stories from when he was doing stand up comedy, I've searched all over and I can't find a single web page with any of his stories on it. All I get are websites about him or Amazon.com talking about one of his movies. I'm really desprate so does anybody know if I can find a good page that is full of Bill Cosby's stories from him doing stand up comedy, that guys' hilarious and I need to memorize it by tommorw!

If I had more time than just tomorrow, I could probably write from memory a pretty close rendition to "Tonsils" or "Chicken Heart."  Both are from "Wonderfulness."

Plus, my wife's father I think still has some of the old albums, and he could probably transcribe one for you...but not before tomorrow.

Good Luck.

I was able to find a few sound clips of Bill telling a story (finally) I've decided to tell the end part of the one called "75 dollar car" which is the part where Bill and is girlfriend start driving and they crash into a tree and then some policemen come by and ask "What happened". It's a lot funny than it sounds. Now I just have to memorize it :(. Thanks for trying to help ulthar I really appreaicte it.

Was that the one where he told the cop it was a cow in the road?  I remember one story where he talked about something like that.....

All of his stories were funny.  Great guy, and hey, I'm glad you chose him for your class project.

I think we're talking about diffrent stories but one point he does mention a cow like this "A leaf blew in front of the car OH! I've hit a cow!" that's the only time he mentions a cow. At the end he complains about cops always asking "wha happended here?" even when the situation can explan itself this is one of my favorite lines out of the whole thing: They ask you that no matter what. I could run over a guy and leave him under a car ,boy, and the guy says "All right what happened here?" Oh well the guy was sleeping and I had nothing to cover him so I figured I'd use the car.  Might protect him from something.

I doubt I could say it as funny as he could but I'll give it a try!

That is the one I was thinking about...obviously, I was not remembering it that well.  That is a funny story.  Good luck with it!
