(This is Part 2 of the original Godsend thread)

As many of you know, Godsend was released today 4-30-04.

Many of you also know that I lost my only younger brother not quite a year ago in a fatal motorcycle accident.

My parents were devastated beyond belief...they had never experienced anything like that in their lives.
They have healed quite a bit since last July 2003.
Our family was tough and far more resilient than I ever thought possible.
We each managed to get through it in our own unique ways and we always remembered to keep the family bond strong.
(Oh by the way, my brother finally got his headstone set and it looks great.  Images of it are on his website.)

My parents have seen the previews for Godsend and have considered going to see it.
I question if they're ready to see a film like this after experiencing the same tragedy that the parents in the film do.
The loss of their son in a freak accident.

What do you think?
Should they see this film?
In the end it isn't my decision...it's theirs.

Do you think it would be wise psychologically for them to view it?

My mother stated to me that she knows it may stir very strong emotions within her  but she feels she needs to see it...she says she has an odd compulsion to see it she can't describe.

What do you think?
