Just wanted to express my sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the American citizens on this list. As a resident of Northern Ireland I have been very appreciative of your country's efforts to bring some resolve to our problems, and indeed other troubled nations.
I hope these efforts will not be forgotten by Europeans and support will be as forthcoming as it was received.
Our thoughts are with you all.

I say we just send a big-ass robot to go over to the Middle East and eat Bin Laden.

My seven year old son told me to send Godzilla over to stomp their asses into the dirt.

I know I'll certainly never watch a Godzilla movie again with that same carefree sense of fun.  (Makes me wonder how the Japanese have been able to make the damned flicks.)

Likely, Nathan, its because it is impossable for that event to happen...involving a nuclear lizard. Godzilla ain't possable in reality. But, now we know airplanes into tall buildings are.

For a country that has actually had two cities flattened, the Godzilla movies might have been almost therapeutic. He started out as a metaphor for the atomic bomb, but was turned into a friend and protector. Today, the metaphor is still there, and he's gone back to his destructive ways, but Godzilla is now seen as something of a respected foe.

I haven't really watched any movies since Monday night (except a quick review of the meteor shower in Armageddon - creepy). It's like I don't want to associate one of my greatest pleasures with this particular point in history. Things will change. We might think we'll always feel this way, but we will cope with it in time.

Earth is visited by a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD! Gawk at the amazingly bad bird puppet, or chuckle over the silly dialog. This is one of the greatest b-movies ever made.
