...the hero always gets the girl.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?  Well, this would be the song that plays during the opening credits for "Flesh Gordon 2."  All six minutes of the opening credits.  One stanza.  Egad.

I think they were trying for the same quirky sexual logic that made the first film work, but it ends up a really horrid mess.  Like Jerkoff and Dale being caught in an Ass-teroid belt.  Stony butts farting - hahaha!  It's funny (kill me).  They spend several minutes firing corks into the flatulent butts, until a flaming meteor (in outer space?  with no atmosphere?) threatens to ignite the gases.

Then there are the Cosmic Cheerleaders, just three horny girls who are in need of some lovin' ever since their codball team (don't ask) was zapped with an impotence ray.

Oh, did I mention that Jerkoff's ship is powered by having sexual congress with chickens?

Andrew, you do not do this horrid thing justice. You forgot to mention the urinating King Kong puppet raining gold on Jerkoff's ship (at which point they turn on the ship's windshield wipers, ha haaaaaaaaaaa!) and the Octop***yeater, which scrabbles down a high-tech wooden plank to gobble Dale's sn***h. Each scene in the movie lasts about three times as long as it should; The Rocky Horror Picture Show this ain't.

A terrible, terrible movie.  Vince Murdocco is terrible in the title role (all of the acting is wretched), and the fact that he bears a frightening resemblance to Arch Hall Jr. only makes things worse. Still, I hope they make a Flesh 3 featuring Ron Jeremy as the leader of the Hedgehog Men.
