I've been keeping tabs on this upcoming film and the one thing I think for sure is gonna happen will happen.

They're gonna screw this up BAD!

Here's some info on who'se been cast so far taken from the Buzzbin on Movies.com:
"Three of the Fantastic Four castings have been confirmed: Michael Chiklis (TV's The Shield) will play Ben Grimm/The Thing, Ioan Gruffudd (King Arthur) will co-star as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, and Chris Evans (Cellular) has joined the cast as Johnny Storm/the Human Torch."

Here's the latest update:
"7/14/04
The Invisible Woman is invisible no more: Jessica Alba has signed on for the role. (The Hollywood Reporter)"
Jessica Alba!!??
WTF!?
What freakin' genius decided to cast her in that role!?
They should be shot.

Chiklis will be ok as Ben Grimm but other than that, they're going to cast this with a plethora of unknown "beautiful people" and it'll suck big giant sweaty balls.

Why couldn't they get Mel Gibson or George Clooney as Mr. Fantastic and Paul Walker as Johnny Storm?

I already have low expectations for this.
I'm so disappointed in this bulls**t casting.

What are your thoughts?

Oh by the way, I found the movie posters for this film and here they are.

I only hope the movie will be as cool as the posters.

Well, I have a bootleg copy of the Roger Corman "Fantastic Four" movie and I don't believe the new one could be more screwed up than that. But you never know.

I thought (hoped) that Jessica Alba had disappeared from the acting community.  I was sadly mistaken.   They might as well put Jessica Simpson in the role!   Michael Chiklis doesn't exactly strike me as a superhero either.
