Not to steal anything from Professor Tanaka in the new post immediately prior, but Samuel Z. Arkoff and Victor Wong (Big Trouble in Little China, Prince of Darkness, Tremors, The Last Emperor, and the 3 Ninjas series, among others) passed away in the past two weeks, and somebody's got to tip the hat.

Arkoff provided the world with lots of fine cheese--and Bert I. Gordon with a few paychecks--and Victor Wong was a fantastic presence that lifted every movie he was in up several notches.

I will miss you both.

Everyone has a different vision of Heaven. Mine is a 24-7 bad-movie marathon in a drive-in, where the only demolished buildings are cheap miniatures, the good guys win more often, and Jerry Falwell's been kicked out for harassing customers in the men's room.

Earth is visited by a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD! Gawk at the amazingly bad bird puppet, or chuckle over the silly dialog. This is one of the greatest b-movies ever made.
