I just recieved my DVD of MONSTERS CRASH THE PAJAMA PARTY (1965) from those fine folks from Image Entertainment and Something Weird Video. The movie and extras are great. MONSTERS CRASH THE PAJAMA PARTY is about a group of teenage girls who spend the night at a haunted house without even knowing that a Mad Doctor is lurking underground with his ape friend Big G. The ape is sent to retrieve the girls for his wacky experiments (so wacky that one of his chemical beakers says "Colored Water" on the side of it)! A wild horror comedy that made me laugh from director David L. Hewitt, director of THE WIZARD OF MARS (1964), GALLERY OF HORROR (1966), JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF TIME (1967), and THE MIGHTY GORGA (1969).
Another feature is the 72 minute Bert I. Gordon film TORMENTED (1960). Quality is good, but print is a bit dull with a few seconds of footage and the original "The End" title card missing! Oh well.
Overall, worth the price of admission. Any questions or comments?
