Just got done watching the movie BULLETHEAD. I enjoyed it. Thought it was relatively decent, if ultimately pointless.
Anyway, as with every movie I watch, I got online to see if I could find any information on it. Lo and behold, IMDb had no entry for the film and no information about anybody involved in it. The only page I could find was this:
http://www.fistfuloffilm.com/movies/bhead/bhead.htmlNow, this would be no surprise to me for a low-budget film like this one, but it was released through Blockbuster Entertainment. That would make it accessible by almost everyone in America. Also, if the above page is true, it is (or was) shown regularly on Showtime.
Does anybody have any info on this movie or the people behind it?
Oh, a quick synopsis. BULLETHEAD is about this sleazy self-destructive guy who is involved in a low-rent crime ring. They mostly due small-time robberies and get involved in sleazy adventures, but murder is never out of the question. Finally, they get the gumption to pull off a bank robbery where things turn south. The film is filled with great atmospheric scenes, although some of the acting leaves a bit to be desired. There's also a narration by the main character which is sort of annoying because he often talks the p**s. The film leads us down a road that, much like the main character's self-destructive streak, is ultimately pointless, even when it explodes in violence. But it's an entertaining ride along the way, with some great visuals and directing notes. Three slimes for this low, low budget feature.
