OMG! this had to be the worst of them all!! :(! The plot was awful the effects were soo fake and the acting wasnt that believable either. I mean did they have such a weak budget that they just threw a bunch of young actors and a bad script together just to make a movie. I feel bad for ppl. that wasted their $ in the threaters! I would ask for myne back! Im srry if im offending anyone. i mean I guess if your a "fan" then you would never miss a movie but besides that dont bother watching this one at all

I think that they were going for the campy feel for the FVJ movie.  If FVJ was supposed to be a tense, leap out of your seat horror I would agree with you.  Just enjoy it for what it is.

I actually like it better than any other movie in either of the series, save for New Nightmare. Why? Because it's a parody of slasher flicks starring the two icons of slasher flicks! It'd be like Sean Connery starring in a James Bond parody, or Sigourney Weaver parodying her role in the Alien(s) series. If you can't see beyond the purposefully bad acting (Ritter's pretty good, and I've seen better performances from everybody on the cast), cheesy CGI (which tends to happen when your budget is about the same as your opening gross), and cheesy jabs at both the Friday and Nightmare series, then why the hell did you even watch this movie? That would be like watching Fight Club and saying you expected a Rocky-esque story about underground fighters.
