Lately there have been 2 periods when the website was being lethargic (the line was operating at max capacity). It appears, from best info at present, that someone was passing a link around to the mpegs. The first time it was the "Evil Dead 2" one, while the latest (today), it was for "Babes in Toyland."
Both times I've renamed the files to fix the problem, but doing that manually is a hassle. Gary, ever helpful, just finished installing a throttle that should keep the amount of bandwidth used for mpeg downloads to a reasonable limit.
Does anyone know who is doing this? I'd like to ask them to stop. Any time spent troubleshooting stuff like this is less time I can work on the important stuff. With my Marine duties as they are at present, it's an issue.
Plus, if anything is acting funky after the changes - please let me know.
