EATEN ALIVE (1980) - Phew ! Cannibal film that also contains a Jim Jones kinda storyline. Woman is looking for her sister deep in the jungles of New Guinea were she followed this cult leader much like Jim Jones of the late 70's. The cult is surrounded by native cannibals. This film is kinda funny with Italian dubbed Southern accents and dialogue, but the film really picks up the pace with some scenes I really don't want to mention on the board. This Italian film is really far out ! Directed by Umberto Lenzi.

Ugh, Italian movies are borderline worse than mexican movies.

save the world, kill a politician or two.

i've seen some good modern Mexican films, like Amorres Perros, and Y Tu Mama Tambien. i got some Mexican in me so i gotta represent.

Eaten Alive.....never seen this one.

I've seen some of Lenzi's best and worst though.  City Of The Living Dead was pure trash but his other cannibal film "Make Them Die Slowly - Cannibal Ferox" is great exploitation.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

EATEN ALIVE is a must see for those who frequent this messageboard. The type of gore is insane and is done better than in SLAVE OF THE CANNIBAL GOD.

CANNIBAL FEROX is on my list during the next month.

I've put off the cannibal movies. I'm afraid I'll just be thinking "not zombies" the whole time. That and, oh look a turtle, cute little guy, hey there Mr Turtle, AAHHH!!
