B movie actor Ed Kemmer dies at 84

Buzz Cory of Space Patrol has passed on.  You probably remember Ed as the know-it-all  high school science teacher in Bert I. Gordon's Earth vsThe Spider or as the lead in Giant from the Unknown.

Ed always made a likable leading man  and was a  World War II hero in real life.  I like the bit about the IRS trying to collect back taxes for when he was a POW!! Check out his profile at  The Astounding B Monster.

I just read about this last night. I didnt know he was a POW in WW2. he led an interesting life though. RIP.
