Can anyone give me a name of a good horror game that is fast paced. When I say "fast paced" I mean something that is completely action based. Not slow like Resident Evil where you got to backtrack 3 hours to look for a stupid key to a stupid wooden door that you can open up with the rocket launcher you have, but it won't work. I hated that so much about Resident Evil.

So, basically, does anyone know any fast paced horror games for the Ps2? Doom 3 looked good, but its for PC and  X-Box. That sucks.

Definitely Doom 3.

But since you're limited to the PS2,  try The Suffering and Silent Hill 3 (although silent Hill is paced more like Resident Evil).

Dude, go with any of the Devil May Cry series or Rygar or even Onimusha.  Devil May Cry and Onimusha are definently horror games, and a complete fast paced blast.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

It's not exactly a horror game but Manhunt can get pretty spooky. It's kinda like The Running Man, and Videodrome  put together but different. Beautiful executions. If you like the Hitman series give this a try.

Eternal Darkness was one that people were high on, I read/saw many reviews on it and all gave it 2 thumbs up, 5 stars - that sort of thing. Part of it's gimick was that the lower your health went the harder it was to control your guy. If he was poisoned he'd be kinda wobbley and the room would become disoriented.  I'm not sure what system it's on, but it's a year old or so. So you can probably pick it up cheap.

Painkiller is a shooter that's a lot of fun. Fast paced, no real heavy plot lines. I think you can get it on anything now.
