What has been up with tv's halloween schedule the last two years. It's a disgrace.I don't think Halloween was on at all last year and I don't hink it's on this year. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.Atleast, if not Halloween, they could show something decent.Especially USA, I've always counted on USA to bring home the goods on Halloween.Well, now I have use my VCR unless I want to settle for Urban Legend.Give me a break!Does anyone know if Living Dead in Tokyo Bay is worth buying. It sounds really cool, and how bout Fear No Evil?

Over here the only horror I can find on TV is Evil Dead 2, I saw Fear No Evil, it blew BADLY, I couldn't even finish it.

AMC has Monsterfest, but it just isn't as fun as it has been in the past.  Throwing a commercial break intermission into the middle of the movie doesn't help much either.  All the other channels don't seem to be getting into any kind of spirited fun about it.  A token horror flick or two, that's it.  Dang.

Yeah... Monsterfest was better before they got the rights to the universal classics, and they just threw together 48 hours of eclectic b-movies (especially the year Roger Corman hosted!). Now they put everything in clumps-- first the Dracula movies, then the Frankenstein movies, then the Mummy movies... I dunno, it just seems too organized. There was something about falling asleep on the couch to Invasion of the Saucer Men and waking up to see Reptilicus that was just cool beyond cool.

Funny you should mention the Universal classics. What the heck is up with the pricing on their DVD? They are like $25 a pop. Ridiculous. It;s not likey they have to pay any residuals for them. They should be $10 or $12 each. I don't mind paying $22 for American Werewolf in London with all the special features, but $25 for the original Frankenstien is pushing it.

I just figure it's because of all the extras. The Dracula disc in particular has two full movies on it (the American and Spanish versions), the new score, plus all the usual stuff (commentary, featurette, photo gallery, etc.)
