THE GALT BANSHEE ASSIGNMENT

Hello bad movie fans (yes even rotten cinema has it's fan base). Just wanted everyone to know about a film I made once called the Galt Banshee Assignment, which is loosely based upon a certain movie which also utilized a video  camera with all that shaky motion and stuff like that. Anyhow Galt Banshee deals with a local legend in Guelph Ontario Canada (we admit, it's not original but still worth a look) that centers around a banshee named Dorothy O' Malley, who came from Tippary Ireland in 1923. These two filmmakers, played by yours truly and his friend got lost in the woods (you dont think tht's scary? get lost in the woods sometime and you'll find out different.) and run into evil incarnate (actually its only us goofing off for the camera, but we really did get lsot in the woods, and we were irritable at each other for certain parts). We also interviewed at least 3 people for the film, which took place outside of the Zeller's Plaza in Cambridge Ontario. You want to know where it is, go to Hespler Road, and look on your right. Anyhow hope I can get some return input on this. p.s. I made this film in 1999.

Mmmmmm, yeah. Doesn't seem like a bright thing to do. But he appears to be from Cambridge, which would explain a lot. The smart people live in Waterloo :)

It is really odd to read a post and hear a bunch of familiar locations. Really, it's kind of pointless to talk to this widespread group about the Zellers plaza on Hespeler Rd., but it all makes perfect sense to me. What doesn't make sense is why the Galt Banshee legend would be based around Guelph, which is miles away from Galt (now part of Cambridge).
