I love silly titles of films - often the title is better than the rest of a movie.

My opinion is: the worse the title the better the fun and the title indicates in many cases what level the plot/the movie has.
For example, if the title is pure nonsense then one can expect that the whole movie is something strange.
So here is my actual list of favorite bad movie titles:

1) ) "Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death"  (see reviews)

2) "Maniac Nurses Find Ecstasy"  USA 1990

3) "Nymphoid Barbarians in Dinosaur Hell"  USA 1991

4) "Chopper Chicks in Zombietown"  USA 1989

5) "Women of the Prehistoric Planet"  USA 1966
aka "Prehistoric Planet Women"
aka "Revolt of the Planet Women"

6) "Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women"  USA 1968

7) "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Ball´O´Rama"  (see reviews)

8) "Porno Holocaust"  Italy 1981
aka "Orgasmo Nero II"

9) "Nude on the Moon"  (see reviews)

10) "Hell Comes to Frogtown"  (see reviews)

What are your favorite/worst titles?

Alice B. Toklas, I Love You
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

-- there were a bunch in the '60's like:  Who Is Harry Zimmerman & Why Is He Saying All Those Terrible Things About Me? & Can Muriel Humphreys Find True Happiness etc. etc. -- Really long, expository titles that were quite funny.

Godzilla vs Destroyah. It implies two super monsters about to do battle!

Heatseeker. Come on they only say Heat Seeker ONCE in the movie which has little to do with the actualy movie.

Mortal Kombat Anililaition. They misspelled anilation (and so did I, I think) but they're script writers they should have a damn dicitonary or spellcheck!

Return of the Aliens Deadly Spawn. Hey,where's the first one!? (AKA Deadly Spawn,Aliens Deadly Spawn. Damn I want to see this!)

What about these:

Attack of the Pleasure Pods (Star Worms II)

Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity  (- that sounds like real trash)

Female Space Invaders (It´s just one female - Stella Star - and she does not invade anything/anywhere in the film!)

Devil Girl From Mars

High School Ghosthustlers

THE SAGA OF THE VIKING WOMEN AND THEIR VOYAGE TO THE WATERS OF THE GREAT SEA SERPENT (1958)

A DOG, A MOUSE AND A SPUTNIK (1958)

58 was a good year for funky titles.

It was an Andy Milligan idea that was changed after it was made. Originally, it was called The Curse of the Full Moon.  It was about an reclusive, inbreeding family of werewolves.  It included a old mad scientist father, a matriarical daughter, a twisty but nice brother, a psycho sister, a mental challenged/feral brother and a good daughter who returns from medical school with her husband.

Now, your saying "What does rats have to do with this?" As Milligan finished this film in 1972, the movies WILLARD and BEN came out and became hits. Since the movie only ran 60 minutes, the producers ask him to do something with rats to cash in on the rat craze.  So Milligan and actress Hope Stansbury, who played the psycho sister, filmed extra scenes where Stansbury's character buys killer rats from Milligan, made up as a disfigured, alcoholic pet store owner. She takes them home and beats them to a pulp with a hammer after naming them "Willard" and "Ben." Some of theses scenes were stuck in with out any reason (much like the "sex" in SEEDS OF SIN).

How about:

* BLOOD OF GHASTLY HORROR (this title just about says it all)

* SGT. KABUKIMAN, NYPD (I enjoy saying "Kabukiman")

* INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS
