I disliked Star Wars ep. 1 because it was boring and incompetent, not because of any particular expectations I had.

Star Wars doesn't work for me at all--it did when I was a kid, but not as an adult.  About the only thing I liked back then that can still work its magic on me is the Indiana Jones series.

Yeah, put me in with the Argento detractors too....I like how some of his films look and there are good bits here and there, but his stuff has always seemed more like film school exercises than they do actual movies.

That one post reminded me of something I left off my list. I cannot stand Lynard Skynard.  When we had a classic rock station in our company, the format consultant said we play a lot of Lynard Skynard to reach our so-called "core" audience. He had us limit the Beatles, Stones, Dylan, the Who, Jimi Hendrix and the Doors, because they were oldies.

This drove away most of the normal people and got a hostile, redneck, meth crowd.

For me, it would have to be the Aussie Zombie flick Undead. Quite a few people hate it, but I love it because it is the first "true" zombie flick I ever saw.

PLEASE NOTE: Menard and Hugomarink, I am not refering to you. Check the IMDb and look on the Comments listing. Some really bad review there.

Well, I have not seen UNDEAD so I cannot love, hate, or review it yet.

I'll leave that one to Scott.

Oh, OH. Sorry, Menard. I thought you had seen it.

By the way, the post wasn't meant to be offensive in any way, sorry if it was.

I didn't see anything offensive.

Besides, if you ever did post anything offensive, we would all just have fun with it.

You saw how much we enjoyed Buffy's comments.

Everyone... enjoyed it, right...?

OOOHHHHHH YYYEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M FAMOUS! I'M FAMOUS! I'M...!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. When I wrote the Buffy comment, the Laptop had frozen when a pen-drive was left in and I couldn't fix it. It took about 4 hours, 34 minutes before I could use it again.

When I wrote it I was still a "little" p**sed, despite having taken some anger out in Quake, so, again, sorry about the outburst.

By the way, what do you think of the character Sendich on my "Day of the Dead remake ideas" thread? It's on older messages somewhere, probably the first page.
