"Ice Cream Man" starring Clint Howard (Ron's retarded looking brother) is by far the worst (in a great way) I've ever seen.  Check this one out, as I'd like to see when it's on TV...

Another baddie is "The Granny" starring some playboy bunnies; not a porno.  It's rediculously poor, BUT it's supposed to be a spoof, so it gets a lesser rating in my book.

Is "Ice cream man" the one where it has a guys head in one of those huge wafflecones? And blood on ice cream on an ice cream cone?

I have that movie. It's great. They tried to rip off the old Goonie-style adventuring group of children, only without any budget or imagination. They didn't even have a real fat kid, just put a pillow under a thin kid's shirt. Same with the old woman - give a young actress a pair of glasses and a shawl, and voila. Next to Howard, the biggest star in the thing is Jan-Michael Vincent, teamed up with Lee Majors Jr. That's got to say something. No, wait. It does have David Warner, but as the most talented actor in the picture, he's completely wasted on a tiny part. In general, there is a really weird mix of adult actors, including a porn star and a baseball player.

The gore effects weren't bad - the head in the giant waffle cone, the talking heads with ice cream scoops jammed up their necks, etc.

This is one of those movies in which it is difficult to tell how much of the cheesiness is intentional, and how much is genuine badness. There is plenty of both.

I love this movie! i think i've seen it like 5 times. "But i'm the ice cream man i make children happy. and if i kidnapped the children i wouldn't be able to make them happy." (said in a weird, erie, dorky tone by clint howard)

One thing I've never quite understood is how you grind up a body and use it in making ice cream without anyone noticing. I've seen movies that had people made into sausage, meat pies, chili, pet food and other meat products, but how do you hide meat in a dairy product without doing weird things to the colour, flavour or texture?

The other thing I found really funny is that only one character ever bothered to learn and use Gregory's name. Even the cops just called him "Ice Cream Man" whether in casual conversation or a formal investigation. No wonder he went on a killing spree when nobody treated him as an individual with any kind of identity.

There's another one called "Ice Scream" or something feautering Conrad brooks from Plan 9 from Outer Space (and a bunch of bimboes).  I haven't seen it, but technically I guess it would have to be a step up for him from that

Yeah, the first time I saw it was on Joe Bob's summer school.  That show was great.

"I'M THE ICE CREAM MAN!!"

Then he used the head like hand puppets from behind a fence.   I almost needed a new pair of pants after that.

Or how 'bout when he puts part of an eyeball on top of the cops ice cream cone, then serves it to him and it shows a close-up of it in the cop's mouth?  That is the one single scene in this movie that stands out in my mind everytime I think of it.
