Not a horror or sci-fi film, but the funniest reaction in a movie I ever saw was in a Film 101 class at SMSU.  We had to watch Caberet .  Liza Minelli and Michal York are lovers. Liza begins talking about a mutual friend of theirs named Max.  She talks about him on and on and on until Michal York gets mad and says "SCREW MAX!"  Liza looks at him and says "I already do."  The class is crushed and lets out an "OOOOOHHHHH!" of disappointment.

Michal York smiles and says "Funny, so do I." At that point the class goes "AAAGGGGHHHHH!" in kind of half shock and half disgust. BTW, this was in the 80's when people were not so PC.

Hehehehehe, great suggestion Wence... its been over 25 years since I first watched this "classic" & I my jaw still drops at just the thought of it !!!

Possibly my second greatest jaw dropping moment is that scene in Megaforce when Ace flies up on his futuristic motor cycle :)

I love that scene in Death Wish 3 when Bronson ambushes that dude on the top of  a building and throws him over the side, were he proceeds to transform into a very boffo dummy and lands on a car at the bottom. Then to add further insult to injury, a minute or so later, the cops find the guy's body in A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT POSITION on the car. In fact, that whole silly movie is riddled with similarly inept scenes, too many to name in fact.

About a year ago I caught a midnight screening of a fu-flick called Revenge of the Shogun Women, in 3D. The movie was full of the usual 3D tricks-- spears getting thrust straight into the camera, horses charging, that sort of thing. Then, about halfway through the movie, the bad guys pillage the village... and they do the same trick with the leg of a woman getting raped!  Unbelievable, even to that hardened midnight-movie crowd.

Jack, you need to put Uwe Boll behind you and move on, move on.  Forget your pain!

J-DM?  I'd have to say Morbius and the C-57D crewmen wandering about the innards of the Krell's whacking big machine.  Saw it as a teenager and still impresses.

And that's my two cents.

One Jaw Dropping moment(s) that i can think of at the moment is the web slinging and the train fight in Spider-man 2. Sequals don't get this better.

The final fight between Malcolm McDowell and Tank Girl at the end of "Tank Girl". You have to see it to believe it.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.
