Food of the Gods (1976)

I really liked this old flick(I don't think they actually shot the rats with bullets, appear to have splattered them with red paint)...anyway I, too would like to see this released on dvd. I have dvds of Mr. BIG's more goofy but less entertaining Empire of the Ants and Gnaw, Food of the Gods 2(1989) very entertaining schlock, although Bert had no connection to it, it was done in very much the same style...hadn't seen it since it came out originally on vhs & it was even better than I remembered. Fans of Gordon's original should check it out.

It took you only a half hour to figure this sucked, and not in a good way, big time. It took me only fifteen minutes for me to decide that and change to something else on television.

Though, I must say it is not a bad cast. Besides Marjoe Gortner, there is Pamela Franklin, Ralph Meeker, and Ida Lupino.

And while I have not seen the sequel to this, if you think this is bad, the sequel is suppose to be twice as worst.

Bert I. Gordon should have had his filmmaking lisence taken away from him for the way he abused animals.
