I was not even prepared for this story. I was expecting the normal medical thrillers that he usually writes. This was Science Fiction. Has anybody read it? The idea is pretty intriguing his version was somewhat unbelievable.

Basic Story: A group of people in a submersible are abducted by people living under the oceans floor inside the earth. They consider themselves superior to above dwellers. They are extremely advanced and also quite stupid in my opinion. They are concerned that their world is going to be discovered.  The characters are  not believable, I found that its an interesting idea but someone else needs to write about it.   Has anyone read it?

Wow, Robin Cook channels Jules Verne.

I used to read a few Cook books, excuse the pun, but you can only read so many medical thrillers before they start to feel the same. This sounds intriguing though.
