Well, I finally ran the full run of my sadist streak. Nearly two years in the making (and there are still more reader reviews I need to post that have been waiting longer), here is Ashthecat's take on "The Ice Pirates." http://www.badmovies.org/othermovies/icepirates/index.html

I love this movie!!!!
It was recently released on DVD and I went to every video store store in town asking for it. Almost every employee looked at me like I was crazy and claimed to have never heard of it But one glorious (and independently owned video store) said "Ohhhh with Robert Urich, wow I wish we had that one"
I eventually tracked it down at Best Buy and bought it. Damn what a movie. It may not be as funny to me now that I am almost 30, but it is still quite entertaining.

I remember seeing the previews and was so exxcited i made my mother take me to see it. In retrospect she probably thought i was a pretty scary kid, while other little girls wanted to go see Annie and Benji i wanted to see Krull and Ice Pirates

"while other little girls wanted to go see Annie and Benji i wanted to see Krull and Ice Pirates" Sounds like you were my kind of girl.

Wasn't this released in 3D? I have recollections of seeing it at the theatre in 3D.

Sweet Jesus!?!? Krull? A coworker and I were talking about that film yesterday. I used to loathe it as a kid yet he owns a few different copies of it.

WOW!
Thanks Andrew! Finally after 2 years it's on the home page. I never thought that review was the greatest...it had a ton of flaws until I edited the hell out of it. I think I sent like 2 or 3 drafts of it to Andrew before I was satisfied with it.
So does this mean if I send you another movie review, it'll be up in 2007? Just kidding!
Again....thanks for finally posting my review!

Finally got a chance to see this one last night. It was pretty fun. I think it could've been a lot better but some of the jokes either felt forced or the timing was off or something. The jokes were not as funny as I think they could've been.
