SON OF HERCULES:  Devil of the Desert Against the Son of Hercules[ (1964) - This Italian sword and sandal film features Kirk Morris as one of the son's of Hercules. Filmed at desert locationns in Algeria it has a different look than a lot of the Italian films of the same subject. The outfits are also well done. Kirk Morris isn't has big physically as others who have played other strongman roles related to Hercules. They need to get a good copy of this film as the transfer is rather faded in color and distracting. It's part of  the 50 Sci-Fi Classic box set that I picked up in December. My only question is why is this film consider by the DVD distributor a Sci-Fi film? : )

Also just viewed SON OF HERCULES: IN THE LAND OF DARKNESS (1963) starring Dan Vidas as a son of Hercules. They seemed to have made a few movies based on the Son of Hercules as they use the same opening music and exhibiting feats of strength. These characters always rescue a princess and enslaved people by some tyrant in these films. This film Hercules topples a enourmous stone draw bridge that crosses a model set that leads to the land of darkness. This one isn't as good as DEVIL OF THE DESERT AGAINST THE SON OF HERCULES (1964). Both films are at 90 minutes in length, so I don't think they were made for TV. The Movie Series is actually called SONS OF HERCULES and each film features a different son.
