Is it just my imagination or is the plot to the summer's "The Island" virtually synonymous with the MST3K-treated "Parts - The Clonus Horror"?

Obi-Wan should be mindful of the movie scripts he chooses...

Not your imagination. A big part of what sucked about "Parts" was that it was able to suck with such a good premise. The first time I saw it it seemed really plausible and scary though, because I was wee.

You are right.  I didn't really think about it when first reading the synopsis of The Island....

Despite the fact that I loathe Michael Bay, I'm really looking forward to The Island.
