Sorry I have been a bit absent lately.  Between two children and 14 hour days at the unit, I often just do not have the time.  The weekends are often my only time with Jenna and Andy, so I am with them the whole time.  Once the day is done, well, I often flop into bed.

Anyway, here is a fun treat:

Sometimes, I think that the entire movie is just a setup for the part with the light grenade.

Just watched the 'light grenade' clip.

Dear god I must see the full scene!!  That just looked absolutely ridiculous!  And not to mention the battle-hardened body armour they were wearing!?!??!

And to think that I have a soft spot for Super Mario Bros, so this one should be right up my alley...

I'm glad to see this one finally made the review list. I love this movie, much to my wife's chagrin. Especially when I kiss her like Emperor Tod kisses Marge. Eeeeew.

I remember seeing MOM AND DAD SAVE THE WORLD when it came out on VHS years ago. It's a fun movie and at the time I thought Jon Lovitz should have made many more movies as I found his TV and movie roles funny.

These type films are fun and reminds me of LITTLE NICKY or FLESH GORDON 2.

I remember this one from cable years ago. Best granade gag ever! The climactic swordfight gag had me in stitches as well.

Too bad Jeffrey Jones is now best remembered as a pedophile after the incident of 2002.  He did a great job in Ferris Bueller, though.
