As a teen, that series by John Christopher was always one of my favorite trilogies. Along with Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings." Apparently, Christopher's trilogy was filmed for television. Which most of us did not see, as it was a British series, and, as far as I know, it played on only a few PBS stations here in the U.S. And Skaboi isn't going to like this, but there is talk of doing another television adaptation of the series, this time by Disney,
