Feel free to reply with your thoughts on the two movies I just bought...

I remember My Bloody Valentine being one of the better slasher "Date" (i.e. Halloween, Friday the 13th, Graduation Day, Prom Night, et al) movies that plagued the b-movie scene like a bad case of shingles back in the early eighties.  It benefits from being shot in an actual mine, allowing the director to build up a lot of nice atmosphere.  The movie was heavily cut to receive an R rating and the aforementioned director hopes to get a director's cut out someday.  But Paramount still owns the movie and they have a strict NO NC-17 or un-rated movie policy, so hopes are dim at this time.

Please note: Paramount has gone on record saying that grass root movements regarding restoring movies are ignored.  So letters pleading to restore the cut footage fall on deaf ears.  Jerks.
