2001 ASO explained.

It's a Flash animation that replays some of the key scenes of the movie with added commentary. It consists of 4 parts totalling 20 minutes, but it's worth the watch.

It's a nice animation (if a bit too long), and I generally agree with the take on the film.  I don't really agree with their reasoning behind HAL's actions.  Anthropomorphizing HAL takes away from some of the mystery of the non-human reasoning behind that red eye.

2001 is, in my opinion, one of the best movies ever made.  I don't generally agree with its philosophy, though.
