I took the test and then the site stopped working before it gave me the results. I then tried about a half hour later and the site doesn't work. I did so want to test my Zombie Survival Skills...possibly later.

Official Survivor
Congratulations! You scored 74%!
Whether through ferocity or quickness, you made it out. You made the right choice most of the time, but you probably screwed up somewhere. Nobody's perfect, at least you're alive.

77%, I kept the friend but ditched the last three people on the roof.

I got 72% which isn't too bad considering that the abundance of weapons in this country pales in comparison to those in the US, but I think I should score extra points for actually knowing where the nearest gun shop is to me: there ain't many around in general, and I've actually put thought into what I would do if Zombies ran amuck in my area. [I think I've been watching too many zombie movies]

Out of curiousity, what weapons did people choose for the last question?  Personally I went for the baseball bat: it's solid, reasonably quick to use, and we have about 3 in the house at the moment.  I also ditched the last three people on the roof, but threw them arms [though this was assuming I had stocked up on pretty much everything as per my answers for the rest of it.]  I also shot the friend, though in hindsight that was probably a really mean thing to do.

I scored 77%

I chose the shotgun as my main weapon of choice and would wear medium armor.
A shotgun is great for stopping power but definitely is lacking when it comes to ammo capacity.  You've got 2 shots at most before you must reload, assuming you're using a double barrel Remington.  A pump action shotgun would be better if you could get your hands on one but it has a longer reload time.
That, and shotgun shells aren't exactly small either.
And I would keep at least 3-5 assorted handguns on my person at all times.
I'd want those pistols near in case I had to drop the boomstick in a hurry.

For the final weapon I chose the machette as I figured it would be fun to hack your way through zombies. The bat is probably better as you can kill them with blunt force to the head.
I've stockpiled at home just in case there is ever an uprising of zombies in my area. I've got the weapons that are needed. Handguns for close combat and as back-up, shotgun for general use, semi-autos for when you just want to throw lots of lead around, and a few fitted with scopes for the long range zombie hunting that you may encounter in open areas. However, as I have seen from this test, I am completely unprepared for a zombie attack as my compassion will be my undoing...

I chose the bat, figured you can nail them and stay a reasonable distance away from them.  What I would really like to have in this case is a sharp axe with a nice oak handle, I've chopped on enough logs and such that I can put that blade right where I want it.

If such a scenario came to pass it would definitely spawn some creativity on the part of those dispatching the undead.

The only thing that saved me was just throwing the unarmed folks some weapons and leaving them. It bothered me though, so I guess I have the same problems with compassion for others.

Next time, it's every man for himself.
I chose the machete--there's something about that visceral "thwuck!"  sound to the head that gives me  a warm all-over feeling.
