It kinda was done earlier by Burgo I think.

The line was "I'm not going to make but you still can."

Different words, same meaning, same annoyance.

I think these have already been done, but:

Hang on! We'll get to you!
Q: Are you sure this is going to work? A: Let's hope so.

How about this?

"We're all going to die/It's hopeless *pause* Unless......(tells risky plan that actually does work in the end)"

I guess it's funny, but all the disaster movie cliches are ones which I actually enjoy in crappy disaster flick... sure you groan and complain about them, but in the end, I'm glad they're there if not for the fact that I can laugh about how tacky and lame the lines are...  Its really the only way to get enjoyment out of crappy disaster films [and yes, even good ones]

My favorite always was, "We have only one chance.... (followed by a completely insane, illogical, and totally impossible solution, which)...just might work." and inevitably it does, even if it's something like firing a radioactive peanut butter sandwich into the sun to turn back time in order to prevent said disaster from ever happening.

Here are a few more:

"You must be insane!"

"Here . . . take this locket . . . for luck."

"Can't you see there's nothing we can do for her now?"

"Damn you, Josey Wales."  (Oops . . . that one slipped in by accident).
