Christmas Shopping

Anyone here find themselves magnetically pulled to the cheap $1 DVD sections of every store you shopped this Christmas season?

I picked up THE GRAND DUEL and four other Spaghetti Westerns for $2.99. Only wanted THE GRAND DUEL as I've viewed the others before. Might give BEYOND THE LAW a second chance.

In terms of cheap dvds I bought during the last week, I picked up a cheap copy of Death To Smoochy.

And I scored a nice haul of dvds as chrissie pressies, with Dead Man, Lady Snow Blood 1+2, 2046 and the Fifth Element, so I'm pretty happy!

There are not many deals like that in my country, but I bought my self-present a couple of weeks ago: it's a Kiss DP-1100, a DVD player with DivX support. Still have to test it more thoroughly, but so far about 80% of the films I've tried work fine.
