Whats the worst/annoying show of all time?
This can be anything from talkshows and sitcoms to the evening news. Also they can be from any era. Just don't say infomercials. Even though they are stupid and annoying they are not shows.

For me it's sex and the city. They put it right over my favorite sitcom and I hate chick shows like that.

Snivelly

I'm a chick and I won't even watch that show!  I'd say any and all talk shows, especially Dr. Phil.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't the sport for you.

Raffine

Any and all "Reality" shows, particularly Survivor 'cause it started it all.

THAT'S Entertainment?!?
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

Reality shows I rarely watch, so it's like they don't exist to me. Even when I had cable, Celebrity Fit Club was about it, and that was mostly to see folks like Gary Busey in freako mode. I don't count stuff I liked like Junkyard Wars or MythBusters as reality shows.

Sitcoms like Small Wonder, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, and say Alf were pretty pathetic. Also the more recent trend of "the fat schlub with wife too hot for him and a crop of cute lil' smartass kids" sitcoms sucks pretty badly, According to Jim, Still Standing, or anything else in this genre is pretty awful. Grounded for Life was a rare exception since it was actually funny to me, and you could see those two characters staying together considering their background how they wound up together in the first place.

Those Dateline online predator stalk and confront shows, even if they do provide a warning to parents are just tabloid sensationalism passing as hard journalism.

Court shows, all of them, real or fake, small claims, divorce, family disputes, whatever need to stop clogging up the airwaves.

Oprah, Dr. Phil, Maury, Montel, Springer (is he still on?). I'll include The View here but I haven't seen it in a while since before Rosie joined the show, but talk radio sure does get some mileage out of her attention whoring/verbal stupidity.

And finally, people, for the sake of civilization or for the sake of our children, or whatever you hold in some regard - STOP WATCHING CHEATERS!!!

Can you tell I hate TV these days?

Entertainment Tonight. They may call it that but in my mind it will always be "The Plastic and Phoney People Showcase".

My thoughts about MTV exactly. Not only does MTV have NOTHING to do with music anymore, beyond waterd down rap music by talentless people (somebody saying uh huh yeah yeah yeah over samples of Led Zep?) but who really cares about spoiled "hip" collage kids and their watery, materilistic lives? In between that ,endless action movie commercials, and lotsa phoney "reality" programming,in which a camera is stuck in a room with a bunch of airheads (oh-and one "street" person, either a black guy or phoney punk guy) and watch them blather on about sex and lifes unbearable little annoyances. Ken and Barbie's life is soooo miserable, because they can't go to the Poofy Dip Paddy show, because Punk boy wantto be a rebel and go see My Dead Girl Freind...and they can't agree on how to split the 10 grand MTV gave them . My 13 year old watches this crap, occasionally, yet it barley holds his interest...gawd...just writing about is making me nausous...urp...

I can live with one or two court shows (Judy and Mathis, even Milan).  Everyone else, who are they???

Adult Swim.  Maybe I'm showing my age, but, with the exception of ATHF, and , any non anime show.  Those show may be better after a hit of the sticky icky icky,  but my job got random drug testing.
We all know Bill is a little nuts, but George has actually tasted them.

BlackAngel75, yep one of the "joys" of night shift work is daytime TV in your free time. The station I get the best here is our CW station, they have most of the court shows, the Fox station has the rest. Makes me miss the daytime movies and decent sitcom reruns, even the few we get here during the day suck.

Judge Joe Brown I don't hate too much, he's better at letting the people talk themselves into trouble then letting them have it, so occasionally he can be funny. Judge Judy got on my nerves quick since her ego has her brow beating people, bragging on her "smarts", and so on. I guess people like since she's been on for so long, but I get the impression she likes to hear herself talk, she must be a joy to be related to.

I work with a guy, I call him the "other fanboy at work" on here, he watches Milan since he has a mad crush on her. Eeh. We get that new one Judge Maria Lopez now, she's like Milan but with a voice like Froggy from the Little Rascals. What a charmer.

What about everyone's favorite Christian soap opera, Seventh Heaven? ARRRGHHHH!
Goblins still exist. Your Grandpa Seth is telling you!

Are you nuts? You tryin' ta turn me into a homo?

Reading through the repsonses I have to agree with several.  Dr. Philipretty much boils down to a man hating loser who will sell his soul to attact a huge female audience. That and I've never seen him give actual advice rather than saying "You Have A Problem" or "You're not right.   Oprah should be gone by now should't she?  Dear lord, The View...especially the Star Jones days.

Sitcom wise, and I'm sure many may disagree, never found Seinfeld very funny.  Nor Friends, Mad About You, insert whatever 90s sitcom you want here.  I'm a child of 80s sitcoms like Cheers that actually made me laugh hysterically.

Super Nanny or Nanny 911, simply because the wild kids on these shows just drive me nuts. I cannot bear to watch these shows because of these annoying children.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Putting a positive spin on this thread:

The absolute BEST show ever alive on TV now is RFD-TV's Big Joe's Polka Show.
