Guilty Pleasure TV Shows?

So, what shows are your guys' guilty pleasures?  Come on, we all know you got 'em!  You know, shows that everbody else seems to hate (or that the people on this site seem to hate) but that you still love.

For me:
How I Met Your Mother - Everyone I know hates this show.  The characters are somewhat dull (except for Neil Patrick Harris), the plots are cliche, and it's pretty repetitive.  I just can't get enough of it for some reason.
Friends - While, I do know some people who like this show, it seems to be a general agreement to hate its guts.  I don't know why, but it's somewhat calming to me.  And I never watched it until this year when I found a DVD set at a thrift store for cheap.  I've started becoming a fan a decade and a bit too late.
Glee - *Dodges shoes*  Okay, I like show tunes.  Is that a crime?

So, what do you guys got?

I really like Two and a Half Men.

My favourite character is Evelyn, Charlie and Alan's mother.  She is an absolute cracker.  My mum used to be exactly the same as her (minus the posh job and all the money).  But the thinly veiled personal insults, the perfect clothes, hair and makeup, the disdain for her kids, the withering looks, the arrogance and self absorbtion and her ultimate confidence in reducing men to blubbering rubble are exactly the same.

Mum is 63 now and mellowed a lot.  She even wears jeans!    But my sister and I sit there and howl with laughter at Evelyn's antics and we say to mum, "OMG she's just like you".

When my kids were little,they watched this stuff constantly-and I got hooked. Yeah-pretty sad....

* THE BRADY BUNCH - The blueprint for 1970s TV cheese.

* HAPPY DAYS - Season 1, when it was a pretty good nostalgic look at the 1950s.  Subsequent seasons were nothing more than increasingly lame sitcoms that could have taken place in any era and generally were not specifically related to the 1950s.

* COPS - I can watch those weird people getting dragged out from under crack house porches over and over again and never get tired of it.

* LAND OF THE GIANTS - I have the whole series (one season) on DVD.  You gotta love those giant rubber hands!

The Big Bang Theory - know it's not well-liked here but I love it! It makes me laugh and is full of genre and comics references.
Wife Swap (UK & US versions)- I find myself drawn into this show whenever it comes on.
Hoarding: Buried Alive- like it better than Hoarders but I find myself drawn and fascinated by this show.
Mary Tyler Moore & Rhoda- bit unusual for a guy like me to like these shows but yeah I do.

Just what I was thinking.  Some of the dumb ones (with canned laugh tracks sometimes) I'll sit through just for nostalgia purposes, like Jabberjaw, Hong Kong Phooey, Captain Caveman, Laff-A-Lympics, Dynomutt, etc.  Another reason for watching is my appreciation for the famous voice actors having to slog through this garbage and still sounding as great as ever (Frank Welker, Daws Butler, Pete Cullen, Don Messick, etc).

I've gotten strange looks when I've told people I'd rather watch old superhero cartoons than any of today's TV shows...but hey it's the truth, I really would.

I must admit I watch a fair amount of Nick-Jr with my son as it distracts him from his longings for warm human flesh. In any case I have actually found myself enjoying this show called "Backyardagins" mostly because the musical score is amazingly well done. Gets me a few stares the next day when I'm humming it around the lab.

Isabela use to watch Backyardigans. I had the song 'cowboys, cowgirls' stuck in my head for about three years. After reading your post i'm sure it will lodged back in my brain again hahah.

The reason the music is so good is due in part to it being done by Evan Lurie. He is the pianist for the very great and quirky avant-garge jazz band The Lounge Lizards. That's why you hear a lot of Latin jazz, Carribean, and Cajun elements to the music.
