I wonder why. Is Scott's career not looking so good these days? That's usually the only reason creative types revisit successes from much earlier in their careers.

The good news is Ridley Scott is saying he doesn't want it to be a remake, but a new story, either a prequel or sequel. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

all I'm hoping for is that there isn't a lot of product plugs in this new one like there was in Blade Runner
