80 F today. Forecast predicts 86-95 F this weekend, with steady hot temps till July. Time to retire my beloved wool hat I guess.

Jack

I thought the weatherman said it was supposed to be pleasant today, but it's almost 90 F and humid  :bluesad:

Jack

It's raining now.  There are these little drops of water falling right out of the sky.

Makes me wonder how the heck they got up there

It was so cold on Friday morning, I was bent over waiting for the bus.

I am actually wearing the Dr Who scarf Mom knitted for me in high school: it is about a metre in length.

Cold, fog, drizzle, rain. Lots of icebergs around to be seen though.

Hey, Jack. If you got any to spare send some more our way. We are in severe drought conditions. Though, yesterday's rainstorms helped to fill up the area lakes and reservoirs. The area where I lived got .59 inches, which is the most rain we got in a day this year. And I don't know where this happened, but someplace south of us got 8.5 inches. Of course, we also got closed roads due to flooding and people who live in the flood plain evacuated from their homes, because of the fear of flooding.

The mornings here in the Northeast are around 70 degrees (carrying over from overnight) and it's in the low to mid 80's. Warm enough considering the humidity the Northeast is known for.

Trevor

Freezing in the morning, mild the rest of the day. Typical South African winter.  :teddyr:
