I knew nothing about computers. Me wifey Tara Sue got me on the internet and said "Type something" I typed in bad horror movies. Cuz-ya know-I was a fan of cheap movies.I hadda look it up-I joined the forum in June of 2006.
I joined because-well-I had just learned about computers and I was driving my wife Tara Sue nuts because I kept playing the BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS clip from Andrews reveiw. I was hooked. :teddyr:

A online friend who actually never joined badmovies.org brought me here. This was around 2006 or 2007? I signed up with another name, accidentally deleted my account in 2010 and joined again with a new nick (claws).

I joined November 15, 2006.  I was looking for reviews, probably over at IMDb, and it had a link to a review here I imagine.

November, 2008. I found this site because I was looking for the title of a movie that ended up being Psychomania. Skull was the one who provided the answer. I've been coming here ever since because I like the community and it offers things I like beside just bad movie talk.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

I first got internet access in 98 and it was sometime shortly after that. I didn't see that many movies for a couple of years, then I got netflix in 07 and started back in earnest.

July 2007.  I was looking up B-movie reviews and found this site; Andrew's reviews made me laugh so hard I HAD to join the forum.  I quickly became one of the "most boo-ed" members; but as I gained my feet and learned to fit in, my karma increased and so did my love for this place.  This and Arrowheadology.com are my two homes on the internet for different reasons.  I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I joined ... eh... sometime in the past.  Doesn't matter.

The reason why I joined was because I had already left the main forum I had been frequenting due to some disputes with the moderators there and needed some new forum place to frequent.  Plus I really liked badmovies and figured this would be a place to talk about them.

Sometime around 1998 or so, I guess, I was teaching a night lab course and fooling around on the computer while my students were finishing their labs.  I found badmovies.org and was hooked ever since.  I did not join right away, but did communicate with Andrew about a review prior to actually joining and posting to the forum.

I'll help you out: you joined January 2010.

I joined April 2007.  Menard directed some of the SciFilmers over here when that forum shut down.

Why do I keep getting blamed for this? :tongueout:

I joined, oh heck, I can't even remember, maybe around 2003, give or take.

I had been visiting the site before, believe it or not on a WebTV unit, and it was one of the few sites that had clips that would play on a WebTV unit. After a while I noticed that it had been a while since a review had been placed, so I was curious and looked around and noticed there was a forum...yeah, I hadn't paid attention before...so sue me. :tongueout:

I had also sent Andrew an email, which he never answered, asking when he was going to review Wrong Turn. Of course it doesn't really fit with the motif of the site...the sequels of the other hand. The main reason I was curious is because I found his take on West Virginia in the Beastmaster review to be humorous and was interested in his take on a movie about inbreeds in West Virginia.

Anyway, I joined to find out what was going on with the cessation of reviews, and it turned out that was when Andrew was deployed to Iraq.

I'm surprised the date I joined is not inscribed on a plaque of lament. :teddyr:

I first got internet in 1995.  Found (or was given a link to) this site very shortly after that.  I know I lurked for some time, so I don't know exactly when I got the nerve up to actually join (but I know it was before the move, so the date shown here is later).

I may not discuss them much, but I love bad SF/fantasy/horror movies.  Andrew's reviews are priceless.  It's great to be able to 'listen in' on what others have to say.  And you guys can be SO funny!

I remember it quite clearly.

Andrew's site was one of the few bad movie sites that actually had video clips, and I laughed my ass off watching them.

That was in 1998 or 1999. Then I found the message board and had a great time discussing really stupid movies.

I've been here since, which is about fourteen years or so. That's a wake-up call, I have been posting on this site for fourteen years. I've been through it all for all the changes.

Man, fourteen years. This site has been a constant I wouldn't trade for anything.
