The point is, he set himself up for ridicule by making himself look like a small child pretending to be President.
Why the tiny table?  Why not in the Oval Office, behind the Resolute Desk, surrounded by the trappings of power?
Just one more example of how clueless the man is.

How has your life changed for the better because of Trump?
How was it worse under Obama? I think your lives were the same.
And if you think he was ever for "the working man"- are you kidding?
The guy squandered money he inherited from his father, and had to go to Germany and Russia to get loans.
