Last night TCM showed ROCK N ROLL HIGH SCHOOL which I sat thru, and laughed.  Man, them RAMONES had zero charisma.  P.J. SOLES dreaming about 6'6" geeky JOEY lurching through her room.  Kind of funny and sad.  Listening to my RAMONES today of course.

Ramones always sound better live. Joey's slurred vocals are kinda what Old Blue Eye's or Elvis did with vocals- he just said a vowel at times- and it's like butter.

This is actually a collection of 4 albums, plus singles. Hammond organ, mixing styles of jazz, boogie-woogie, exotica, pop, and even early rock n' roll.



Picked this middle-of-the-road comp up at a yard sale---she was closing up and packing things up and actually let anyone take anything for free. I also got a nice cocktail glass.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
