I wonder why it always shows 163 (or thereabouts) "guests" here when I log in? Bots? Unregistered but legit viewers? Members lurking? Imagine if 163 people actually posted here. It'd be crazy.

Mostly bots, a few unregistered lurkers.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

When both your daughters are having friends to your house for sleepovers, upstairs and down, it's a good idea not to drop LSD. If you do drop LSD though, you should definitely binge-watch Fleabag.

Wow, not taking LSD last night while chaperoning my daughters' sleepovers totally paid off!

But seriously, incredibly beautiful morning today, a glow outdoors framed all the autumn trees in a golden aura.

I love this time of year.

I love this time of the year as well, mainly due to the temperature not being over 100+
yeah no.

Well the eclipse was, shrug, mostly because it was so cloudy, though the clouds did part from 1:01-1:03, and the peak here was 1:04, which was nice timing. I can't say where we are we had too much to experience anyway but, hey...

I thought ours was going to be a complete eclipse today, but it was only 80%.  We are supposed to get a full solar eclipse next April - sure hope it isn't cloudy.

I stepped outside about an hour ago and forgot I wasn't wearing pants, so the good citizens of Pretoria saw a full moon at least  :buggedout:

Have you ever taken LSD?

I haven't and probably never should. I was once given a drug that heightens recall and felt like it turned my mind inside out. I kept trying to explain to those there that I suddenly understood that we lived our lives over and over in a loop, but nobody paid attention to me, ha .

I wonder what would have happened had Mad Jack Churchill and Ernst Gunther Baade ever met?

Do people not knock on a closed bathroom/restroom door anymore?
yeah no.

Been reading a book written in the mid-'90s by an Air Force vet from Dayton in which he describes taking his young granddaughters on a camel safari in the Australian Outback, and one thing he wrote has fired up my imagination and left me wanting to see it, that being his claim that on moonless nights in the Outback it would be so bright the milky way would cast shadows against the ground.

I usually lock the door and people still try to open the door for a few seconds before knocking.
yeah no.
