33. NIGHT OF THE SORCERORS (1974)
Women are whipped, stripped and beheaded-- but the head turns into a vampire, hisses and rolls back to the body!

I love that movie.

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Would Total Recall fit in here? There is a disembodied head of sorts in it.

Also Sir Ian Holm's head talking in Alien, all covered in milk?
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Also Friday the 13th Part 2 and Star Trek Nemesis have solo heads in them.

Aliens for sure; Total Recall I don't recall (heh).

I think the criteria is supposed to be living disembodied heads, or at least for a little while.  So that at least might not count Friday The 13th Part II.

I haven't seen Star Trek Nemesis in forever so I'm not sure about that one either.  If you can maybe describe the scene of that one or the other films...?

Sorry, you 'll have to dig a bit on the earlier pages of this thread to read his rules.  He clarified them a bit in one of the posts.

But for now (until maybe we know a little more?) I will count Alien as #46 if that's cool and add:
#47 THE HORROR SHOW

Lance Henriksen's character comes across the head of a parapsychologist who was decapitated by the killer, which speaks to him for a bit before it explodes! (This may have been in a dream sequence)

"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

Is it October yet?
