Ever since the 2016 election I go vote. I didn't for the 2016 election and regret it ever since.

Bottom line - I DON'T.  Not any more.  I am no longer a Republican and haven't been since Trump came along.  I voted against him twice, and watching what he's done to the GOP, I doubt I can ever support them again.
I voted for Reagan, don't regret it one bit.  McCain, Romney - I liked those guys.  But since then, the party sold its soul to a man who is pure evil, and I'm DONE with them.

And scum like Margarie Taylor Green, Laurane Boebort, George Santos, Jim Jordan, and Desantis, have no interest in advancing any kind of programs to help life for people, just making it more difficult. From the time Mom got sick in 2020 until fairly recently, things have been tough. Not all of the above applies but most of it sadly.

When I was homeless in NYC. I slept in a Salvation Army drop off box. Me and My friend Joey would call a pizzaria just before closing. When no one came to pick up the pizza, they would toss it in the dumpster. Free pizza!

When I was a teenager I used to write "Counterfeit" on money. I don't anymore.

Smoking, though I still vape. Not healthy, but healthier.

If you were terminally ill, do you think you would eventually take your own life?

I'm not sure. I know I would want to be with those I loved for as long as I could, and I am not convinced enough of there being anything after this life for me to feel certain I would be "going to a better place" (or that I deserve a better place) but I also would hate the idea of burdening my family, and I have experienced enough of physical pain to know how terrible and motivating it is, so....I don't know. I don't know.

It would come down to the quality of life. If you were lying in a bed, in so much pain that the strongest painkillers could only dull the pain I wouldn't want to hang around any longer than I needed to. If I am still able to interact meaningfully with my family, then I'd hang on in there.
